DHAKA: All types of offices will remain closed on December 30 as this day has been declared a general holiday for the 11th parliamentary election.
Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Thursday (December 20).
The General Holiday is declared for the sake of enfranchisement and voting as per the EC demand.
Earlier, EC sent a latter, signed by the EC Joint Secretary Farhad Ahmmed Khan, to the ministry asking it to make the declaration.
